How It Works
If the Job Was Created from an Estimate
Once you convert an estimate to a job, that estimate automatically appears under the Billing tab of the job.
If You Create a New Job from Scratch
Add line items manually to the job.
Click Convert → Convert to Estimate to send an estimate to the customer for approval.
If You’re Adding More Work to an Existing Job
Open the job and select only the specific items you want to include in a new estimate.
Click Convert to Estimate.
Send it for approval—the new estimate will appear alongside the original in the Billing tab.
Benefits
Centralized Data – Job profitability, costs, and invoices stay linked under one job.
Flexible Change Orders – Easily handle customer requests or scope changes without disrupting the original approved estimate.
Cleaner Workflow – Avoid cluttering your workspace with multiple jobs for the same site or project.
Customer Transparency – Customers receive new estimates clearly tied to the same job, ensuring clarity and trust.
Use Case
When a client adds additional services after approving an estimate, simply create a new estimate under the same job. The system keeps all financial and operational data unified while maintaining a full history of approvals.
